I grew up in California with a deep love for art. Stealing comic books from my older brother, I began copying every superhero I could find. That's where I first realized people could draw for money. I drew almost nothing but comic book heroes and villains from that point on.
I moved to Utah to attend BYU for illustration and I began to see more and more of the art world and how I could fit. After seeing my wife read Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? to our first child all I wanted to do was make children's books.
I have done work for Disney, IDW, Scholastic, Simon & Schuster, Sony and many more, creating children's books, comic books, magazine spots and character designs.
I also love basketball, golf, hockey, fishing, dabbling in woodworking and knife making, but nothing comes before my family and my art.
